I've been to St Anton for seven two-week holidays, but last one was about ten years ago. Back then the lift tickets and accommodation were good value for money. It was great snow, lots of variety, and the town does have a pretty loud nightlife. (There are laws against having the volume at Longhorn level though.) You didn't mention the food. St. Anton is not an easy area for beginners and we are not the easiest students. Martin has given us fantastic lessons with incredible patience. He pushed us positively, so that we made the most of it, have overcome our fears and, above all, we had a lot of fun at the piste (Lekker Fred). I like the slopes in Ischgl better - in St. Anton they have bottle necks and lots of beginners that make it dangerous.
